Peter D. Bowes
Peter D. Bowes, MAI, CRE, PE

Peter graduated from Stanford University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science in engineering and joined Bowes and Company after two years in the United States Marine Corps. He holds masters degrees in real estate and economics from the University of Denver.

As an officer, director, committee chairman, and instructor in professional real estate appraisal and counseling associations, Peter participates in the activities of these groups on both a local and national level.

In addition, he works or has worked with community and civic organizations including the Episcopal Church, the Rotary Club of Denver, Girl Scouts, Historic Denver, the Downtown Denver Partnership (Downtown Denver, Inc. and Denver Civic Ventures), the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver, the Trust for Public Lands, and The Urban Land Conservancy. Peter has been an instructor at the University of Denver, Daniels School of Business.

Bret R. Poole
Bret R. Poole, MAI

Bret R. Poole has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Colorado State University and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Colorado. Bret joined Bowes and Company in 1990. Prior to joining Bowes and Company he worked 7 years in the the banking industry, where his duties included loan origination, appraisal review, and commercial real estate analysis.

Bret's volunteer work has included work for Appraisal Institute and the Colorado Coalition of Appraisers, Boy Scouts of America, Jefferson County Public Schools, Jefferson County Open Space, and Junior Achievement. Bret has been an instructor at The University of Denver, Daniels School of Business. Bret served as President of the Colorado Chapter of Real Estate Appraisers in 2010 and as the President of the Colorado Coalition of Real Estate Appraisers in 2010/2011.
